Founded on June 15, 2004, Jambalaya News was the first sports newspaper to begincirculating in the greater New Orleans area. From its inception to date, the paper has published its news in both English and Spanish, managing to attract the interest of other ethnic groups and enlisting them as readers of our newspaper. A new publication circulates every two weeks, with 15,000 copies, reporting of the most important and latest news. In October 2005, immediately after Hurricane Katrina, Jambalaya News transformed itself to service the needs of New Orleans's Latino community and began to publish news as about economy, immigration, politics, social, labor force, health, and sports.
