
The New Orleans Musicians' Clinic offers bilingual services to musicians and their family members over 17 years old for $10 co-pay and a fee based on your income. They will help you to arrange free medical transportation if needed, and offer dental and medical assistance, lab work, physical therapy, vision, and discounted prescriptions. The clinic is located at 2820 Napoleon Avenue, Suite 890 and can be contacted in Spanish at 504-412-1521. It is open Monday thru Friday 9:00 am — 5:00 pm.
- The Jefferson Community Healthcare Centers also offer services in primary and dental care at their locations in Marrero and River Ridge. Fees are determined on a sliding scale based on your income and can be paid in installments if necessary. They can be contacted at 504-341-4006 for the Marrero location and 504-463-3002 in River Ridge.
- There are also services available for those who have HIV or AIDS. The NO Aids Taskforce is available Monday through Saturday at five locations throughout New Orleans, Houma, and Thibodaux. Offering services in anonymous HIV testing, case management, early intervention, prevention education, home meal delivery, and support groups, they can be contacted at 504-821-2601. The LSU Mobile Dental Van provides dental services for HIV+ and AIDS patients upon referral. They can be contacted Monday through Thursday at 504-903-7307.
- Spanish-speaking prenatal providers can be found by calling or emailing the Hispanic Prenatal Helpline at 800-504-7081 and prenatalhelp@hispanichealth.org.
